Field and Other Services

The Directorate is responsible for; deployment, supervision and transfer of education officers; co-ordinate capacity building of education managers; advise the Permanent Secretary on and co-ordinate provision of infrastructure and related resources for field offices; management of Performance Contracting for field officers; co-ordinate INSET programmes; provide and co-ordinate Guidance and Counselling Services in the learning institutions; co-ordinate Education in Emergencies; and Co-ordinate Voluntary Services Organizations (VSO) in education.
